Wooden lamp with sacred Shipibo geometry finely cut with laser and assembled with care.
I make this lamp to order and in several sizes.
The work of this lamp was inspired by the art of the Shipibo Conibos community indigenous people of South America.
The art of drawing, called Kene, is a fundamental part of Shipibo culture. It translates their symbolism, their aesthetics, their tradition and their roots. According to Shipibo thinking, the drawings are the materialization of the energy or positive force called Koshi found in plants called Rao.
Its size is 23cm (9 inches) per side for a height of 27 cm (10 inches) in height, foot included.
Its finish is two shades dark oak and light oak with a satin appearance.
Before shipping you the lamp went to Palo santo to purify it.
The origin of the use of palo santo is very old; It was used by shamans during religious rituals, as a tool to attract good luck and ward off any signs of negativity, and as a way to obtain better spiritual communication with their gods.
